Liege Proofed Double Barrel Percussion Pocket Shotgun, 9.2mm
This is a fancy pocket shotgun made by a Belgian artisan sometime between 1878 and 1893. It has a beautifully carved stock, elaborately engraved German silver trigger guard, back strap, and butt cap. The action works as it should in half- and full cock, the nipples are undamaged, and the hammers are solid. There are several stampings under the barrel including the Liege proof marks and inspector's marks, and some which I cannot identify. 8 inch barrels, marked 9.2 and 89 - which are the caliber and serial number. Rated excellent overall.
