Belgian Percussion Boxlock Pistol, 12mm Caliber
A finely made, Belgian-proofed boxlock "Muff Pistol" from the early to mid-19th century. The four-inch barrel twists off for loading, the nipple is clean and undamaged. The finely checkered bag-style grip is in very good condition, without cracks and only a very minor chip on the right side. It has a german silver escutcheon set into the rear for the owner's monogram. The action is strong and the hammer locks in half- and full-cock positions. Nicely engraved frame and trigger guard. NSN Rated fine overall.
