Remington New Model No. 4, .38 RF  
This is the more common .38 rim fire variant of the Remington "New Model" No. 4 revolver. It is in excellent condition, of very fine craftsmanship, with clock-work precision. The action is crisp, the cylinder indexes perfectly and locks up tight. The bore is shiny and the rifling is crisp. The ebony grips are in near-mint condition, the frame, barrel and cylinder retain more than 95% original nickel plating. A very fine example of an early Remington cartridge revolver. SN 4973, rated excellent overall.
